Suhor Industries provides products and services to the
funeral and cemetery industries. The company was established in 1933 by Charles Sloan and
later acquired by Joseph Suhor in 1987. Since that time, Suhor has grown from 11
facilities and 150 employees to over 80 locations and 650 employees.
Those products and services include: concrete burial vaults, steel vaults, cremation
caskets, grave digging, cremation services, wholesale and retail monuments. They also
manufacture single and double depth lawn crypts, columbarium niches and precast
mausoleums. In addition to the death care industry, Suhor also provides wastewater
products and commercial treatment facilities, retaining wall systems, septic tanks and plumbing supplies through
many of its locations. The service area includes Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas,
Arkansas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Oregon, Colorado, New York and Pennsylvania.
The construction division, based in Parsons, Kansas, installs single and double depth
lawn crypts, columbarium niches and precast mausoleums throughout the United States. Suhor
has completed over 220 construction projects in 26 states for cemetery operators, the
Veterans Administration and religious organizations.
